On the conclusion of each discussion, the public is invited to debate. These speakers come from all backgrounds. Thus, the first speakers to unveil this new formula of discussion were Jean Leclerf (writer, former journalist for Figaro), Daniel Vernet (joint-editor on the newspaper Le Monde) and even General Cot.
These discussions take place in the Salle Voûtée, a place with a human dimension which favours the exchange between the speaker and the public. Essentially more than just conferences, these Monthly Discussions of Peace want to be, above all, interactive. It’s a question of a real discussion being established between the speaker and the public.
